Welcome back!
We hope everyone has had a wonderful break and is ready for another fun-filled and busy term of Parents & Friends events!
We have an exciting calendar of activities planned, and we warmly invite all parents and families to get involved in any way they can. Whether you can spare an hour to help at an event, assist with setting up or packing away, donate items, or simply come along and support our fundraising activities.
Our P&F events are not only a great way to raise valuable funds for our school but also provide wonderful opportunities to connect with other families and strengthen our school community.
Exciting News
While all of our Parents & Friends events are wonderful opportunities to connect with other families and build our school community, many also include a fundraising element. We are excited to share that, thanks to the generosity and support of our school community, the P&F has funded the installation of brand-new audiovisual equipment in the school hall.
A sincere thank you to the members of our parent community in particular Paul and Terese who worked closely with the school and Ms Louise to help bring this project to life.
Parents and Friends Social Night Out
Last Thursday evening we had a gathering at Purple Emerald Lounge Bar for a chance to catch up and connect with St. Mary’s parents. A very big thank you to Robyn for organising this event.
Rossmoyne Rummage- Sunday 18 October
We’re gearing up for our upcoming Rossmoyne Rummage fundraising event and are seeking donations of pre-loved books and toys in new or great used condition.
Thanks to the success of our stalls in previous years, we have a strong understanding of what sells well and helps us maximise funds raised.

Our first Coordinators Meeting for the semester will be held on Monday, 3 August, at 7:00 pm at Degani, Northcote.
Everyone is welcome to attend! We'd love to see both new and returning parents join us as we plan our 3rd involvement in this wonderful community event.
Grandparents and Special Older Persons Day - Wednesday 29 July
The Parents and Friends are looking forward to hosting a special morning tea for our Grandparents Day celebration.
If you are available to help with setting up, serving, or cleaning up. Please let your class representative know if you can lend a hand. We are still looking for a few more volunteers to help make this special event a wonderful morning for our grandparents and special visitors.
Reminder: Families are kindly asked to bring along a plate to share for the Grandparents Day morning tea.
Please drop off your plate either at school drop-off or by 10:30 am on the day so that our volunteers have plenty of time to set up before our special guests arrive.
Special Food Day – Burger Lunch! 🍔
The Parents & Friends will be firing up the barbecue and flipping burgers for a special lunch on Thursday, 28 August!
