Pope Leo XIV – July Prayer Intention
This month, Pope Leo XIV invites us to remember that every person is special and loved by God. He reminds us that each of us is a unique gift, and that every life is important from the very beginning to the end. We are all called to care for one another and treat everyone with kindness and respect.
How families can connect this at home:
Families might talk about what makes each person in their family special and why everyone is important. Children can practise small acts of kindness, like including others in play, using kind words, and helping someone who needs it. You might also say a simple prayer together, thanking God for the gift of each person in your family and asking for help to care for others with love.
A fun idea could be to create a “Kindness Jar” at home. Each time someone in the family shows kindness or helps another person, write it on a small piece of paper and add it to the jar. At the end of the week, read them together and celebrate how your family has cared for others. This is a simple and meaningful way to bring the Pope’s message to life in a joyful and practical way.
