Family Time this week..

This week at Family Time, we have a very special activity for the queens in our lives 👸🏽🥰

To celebrate all the amazing mothers and special persons, we will have all the ingredients to make the appreciation card of your dreams or if your sorted in the card department, we’ll also be making paper flower bouquets!  Mother’s Day handmade gifts, sorted! 

Join us in the Specialist Building at 3:15pm until 4:15pm for this special Family Time. 

Friendly reminder:  children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult during Family Time. If your child needs a snack after school, please ensure it is finished before joining the session. No food is to be consumed at the tables during the activity.

Thank You – Ray White Pascoe Vale 🧡

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Ray White Pascoe Vale for their generous donation of zooper doopers for all of our students and staff following last Wednesday’s Cross Country.

It was a warm and energetic day, and the icy treats were a perfect way to cool down and celebrate everyone’s efforts and achievements. The smiles across the school said it all!

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of Ray White Pascoe Vale and their contribution to making special events like this even more enjoyable for our school community.

2027 enrolments are now open!

Do you have a child that will be starting school at Team Westbreen next year? 

Enrolments for 2027 are now open and enrolments forms are available from the school office or by emailing Miss Kerry at kerry.parfett@education.vic.gov.au

2026 OPEN DAY

Ever wondered what happens in your child’s classroom after the 9am bell? 🤔 Now’s your chance to see it in action!

Join us on Wednesday 20th May, 9:00–11:30am and experience a typical morning at Team Westbreen. You’re invited to observe your child (or children) in their classroom, visit other learning spaces, and finish with a relaxed morning tea outside (weather permitting).

Our doors are also open to the wider community and 2027 families—please help us spread the word. We’d love to see you there 😀

C+M Residential Mother’s Day Competition 💐

A huge thank you to C+M Residential, a valued and ongoing supporter of Team Westbreen. Their continued generosity and involvement in our school community is truly appreciated.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, C+M Residential are running a special competition, and we encourage our families to get involved if you can as it’s a great opportunity to spoil someone special.

BREAKFAST CLUB – VOLUNTEER NEEDED

The Westbreen community want to take this opportunity to thank Ms Zoe very much for doing such a wonderful job coordinating the Breakfast Club over the past 12 months, supplying rumbling tummies with delicious food to start their days 😊 Unfortunately she is having to step away from this role due to other work commitments.  As a result of this we are looking for a member of our community who might be willing to take on this role.  If you have a child at school that likes to come to Breakfast Club then it may be an opportunity to share some of their school journey with them, we all know how much children love to have their parent spend time at their school.

The days could be negotiated to suit you, however the hours are approximately 7.45-9.00am, 3 days per week.  Duties include setting up, preparing the staple foods eg toast, cereals, flavoured milk etc and then other times a special of the day may include pancakes, crumpets, avo toast, sausages on toast, cheese toasties or whatever you like depending on how creative you want to get!  😊 I am happy to do the ordering of food through the organisations that are on board and Ms Bridget is happy to do the ordering of any extra items. I can also take over the admin tasks to make it easier as well, and of course our superstar ES ladies will be there to support you in the mornings and helping feed the hungry mob!

If this is something that you might be interested in or you have some further questions, please reach out.  It would be great if we can get someone on board asap.  If there is someone you can think of that you could share the role with then we are also open to unpacking that further.

A Working With Children Check would be required to perform this role.
