Hillview Christmas Tree Fundraiser

Thank you to all of those who supported our P&C fundraiser, purchasing a real Christmas tree to fill their homes with festive spirit. Huge appreciation to Alise McBain who did the drive down to Dungowan, near Tamworth with her house float to collect and bring them back in pristine condition to the Glen Innes Collection spot at Glen Innes High School.

Not only did we have the Glen Innes community members order these trees, but there were supporters also front Inverell and Ebor.

The trees are magical and we hope it brings a lot of joy to your homes over the Festive Season.

Community Consultation Follow – Up

A year ago the school held a Community Consultation Feedback Session with 100 parents, careers and community members in attendance.

A summary of that evening was shared with all in attendance at our last P&C meeting of 2025 and the Executive of Glen Innes High School have been working closely with the P&C working on the response plan for ongoing improvements of school operations.

At our last P&C meeting the improvements were discussed of what has been delivered in 2025 and what is planned for 2026. If you would like more information or be part of this consultation process - consider attending the GIHS P&C meetings.

Next meeting is 3 March 2026
