In the Spotlight

Hi!

My name is Indi and I'm so excited to be starting here at Ocean Grove Primary School.

When I'm not at school, I find myself taking daily walks along the beach in Torquay and getting coffee with my family at our favourite cafe. Something that people may find surprising to learn about me is that I am part Spanish and Hungarian and my family incorporate a lot of the heritage in our home. 

My go-to karaoke song is definitely Defying Gravity out of the movie Wicked, always gets me singing my hardest. One thing I simply couldn't live without is my dad's cooking, he definitely makes sure no one goes hungry. At home we have a 2-year-old crazy Jack Russel named Baxter and a 6-year-old grumpy cat named Taki. Living with both of these animals at home drives us all crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way.

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would probably head around the Greek islands and over to Montenegro and Albania, I've seen beautiful hikes, mountains and beaches that seem like my type of holiday.

Some words my friends would use to describe me would be respectful, thoughtful, active and busy, I'm always out doing some sort of activity, and I tend to never stop.

Lastly, my favourite thing about OGPS so far this week has been the welcoming nature of both the staff and students making this first week for me so easy and feeling like I fit right in. 

Can't wait to see and meet everyone else around the school during my time here.
