PFA MEETING- WEDNESDAY 17th September, 7.30pm
Senior Campus Staff Room. All are welcome. We will wrap up Term 3 and plan Term 4.
JUNIOR CAMPUS CRAZY CAMEL FUNDRAISER
A huge thank you to Shaheen Khan for her hours of sorting for this great fundraiser. Artwork has been sent and we expect delivery of order early Term 4. People don't always know about the hours of work behind the scenes that parent volunteers do, Shaheen has been very busy liaising with the teachers, parents and Crazy Camel!! Thank you Shaheen!
DADS AND DONUTS
Thank you to the Year 5 team lead by Kym Hayat, Rachel Bloom, Esther Lauretti and Anna Angus for a spectacular morning of deliciousness and fun under the COLA. Thanks to our sponsors, the Sawicki family, Bay City Auto group and the Lim family, Squash Melbourne. This really is a special date in our annual calendar and enjoyed by many.
DOGS LUNCH AT THE LOCAL
Thanks to Mick Hennig for arranging this great lunch which was enjoyed by many Dads. The beer the DOGS brewed, the Dishlicker was fresh and on tap. A reminder for the month of September, $1 from every GPS brewed beer at The Local or Stomping Ground goes to the school. So another shout out to Guy and Claudia Greenstone for their consistent effort to support our school!! It means so much. On that note, we are looking for any parents with their Responsible service of alcohol. If you have this please reach out!
DISCO
Wow! What a sensational event! The fairy floss was flowing, neon lights were glowing, DJ was incredible and the kids simply had a blast! Another annual event that is truly “memory making!”.
Led by the incredible Tanya Shulman, thank you to her team of helpers, Shaheen Khan, Sinem Ibrahim, Sim Skovron, Lainie Hanan, Kelly Krepak, Lisa Shiran, Romy Same, Mel Sput, Nat Anker Cohen and Lex Edmunds. These events take hours in planning and ordering and organising and then on disco day - it’s huge! Thank you to the parents who signed up to help with set up, during the discos and at pack up. The hero’s at pack up know how I feel. It’s not a glamourous job to pick up rubbish and clean spills from the floor but it has to be done and I’m so grateful to those parents who get down and dirty!
Phew what a term!
