UCAT: University Clinical Aptitude Test

The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is an admissions test used by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand for their medical, dental, and clinical science degree programs.  Universities requiring the UCAT are listed at this link - Universities requiring the UCAT but also listed below.  

 

Students intending to apply for courses requiring the UCAT at any of these universities are reminded that they will need to book a test.  

 

NOTEThe UCAT ANZ test is changing in 2025.  The Abstract Reasoning subtest will be withdrawn from the test.  The new test format will comprise 3 cognitive subtests: Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning, and the Situational Judgement Test.

The new practice tests relevant to the abovementioned change, will be launched in early March 2025.

 

Students who are preparing for entry into any of these courses are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the format of the test at UCAT Test Format  and the practice tests and preparation material provided at UCAT Preparation when available.

 

Bookings will open on 4 March 2025 and close 16 May 2025.  

The testing dates will be from 1 July 2025 to 5 August 2025.
