Term Two Lessons
Senior lessons commence on Monday, April 28, Junior lessons commence on Wednesday, April 30.
If you would like to leave a horse at the centre for any reason you must notify myself or Cherie. It is never ok to leave horses without prior approval and particularly important while work is being conducted at the centre.
Lucy Williams Clinic
Lucy Williams will be conducting a clinic at the Equestrian Centre on May 3 and 4. I cannot recommend Lucy highly enough for riders of all levels and encourage you to book one or two lessons if you can, you will not be disappointed! Click here for bookings
State Interschool Championships
During the first week of the school holidays four of our senior riders travelled to Boneo Park to compete at the Interschool Equestrian State Championships. This was a huge event, held over five days, with 500 riders and 600 horses competing in five disciplines.
Finley and Charlie competed in the combined training and jumping, Alison and Rachel competed in jumping. They all rode extremely well and provided the very best example of our school. I am so proud of their efforts not just at Boneo but in the weeks and months leading up to the event, the preparations and planning that go into getting to an event like this are considerable!
My sincere thanks are extended to the parents and supporters of these riders, I am so grateful to have such wonderful, dedicated parents involved in our equestrian program, without them none of this would be possible.
Charlie placed 5th and 6th in the 90cm and 100cm jumping while Alison placed 5th in the 100cm, congratulations!!
New arena
Works for the new arena commenced during the holidays and will continue for most of Term Two. To reduce the risk of horses getting loose at the centre please do not tie horses to floats, horses must be saddled and unsaddled in yards only.
