Welcome to Term Two

Sometimes referred to as the more challenging term due to the colder months ahead, Term Two can also be a viewed as an opportunity to build upon the progress of Term One. Our 84 boarders have returned with plenty of smiling faces, giggles and laughter. Seeing our boarders welcome each other with kindness, friendship and happiness is always a treat. The Houses are very much alive with the presence of loud teenagers, singing, laughing, and yelling for each other to ‘come and kick the footy’, or ‘let's go to the courts’. With new buddies to get to know and setting up bedrooms with personal touches, the start of the term has been busy for all. 

Boarding House Captain’s, Henrietta and Henry, have been busy with the Boarding Committee this week. They are in the midst of organising the Australian Boarding Schools Association (ABSA) National Boarding Week which will be running in week 3. Not only is this a week for celebration, but it is a week for our boarders to immerse themselves in the boarding opportunities at College. This term, we have a number of new activities on offer for our boarders to try something new. Please see below for the list of Boarding Activities on offer. 

Bringing boarders together is an important aspect of their journey, and collectively a sense of belonging creates a community of safety and inclusivity. We are currently in the process of organising a 2025 boarding hoodie, please keep an eye out for this notification. Likewise, sharing important experiences such as the ANZAC dawn service this Friday or the ANZAC Day Parade at 10am, brings our boarding and school community together in ceremony, that respectfully acknowledges the sacrifice of those who have served and currently serve our country.

I look forward to a busy and successful term ahead, in particular celebrating the personal achievements of each boarder.
