Harmony Day – Friendship Bracelet Workshop
Harmony Day is a time for us to recognise and celebrate the rich diversity within our school community. It reminds us that everyone belongs, and that our different backgrounds, cultures and experiences make our school a stronger and more connected place.
On Friday, our students took part in a whole-school, cross-year activity, creating friendship bracelets using orange loom bands to mark the occasion. There was a real buzz across the school, with students excitedly heading off to work with peers from different year levels.
It was wonderful to see students collaborating, helping one another, and sharing their skills - especially our loom band “experts” who were quick to lend a hand! Many students had the opportunity to connect with peers they may not usually work with, building new friendships along the way.
The success of this activity has certainly given us something to think about… we may need to plan another cross-year event in the future. Stay tuned!
Wishing all our families a safe and happy holiday break.
