EarlyAct News

The EarlyAct Club has been busy selling Zooper Doopers each Wednesday to raise money to put sports equipment into the Family Care School in Uganda. We are on track to raise well over $1000!

In other exciting news, we are hosting a "Bring your Teddy (or soft toy) to School" day on the last day of term - Thursday, 2 April. We are encouraging all students to bring a teddy or soft toy to school on this day.

The EarlyAct members will be selling Teddy Bear biscuits (2 for $1) at recess on Thursday, 2 April to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday appeal. We are currently gratefully accepting any donations of packets of Arnott's PLAIN Teddy Bear biscuits.

In conjunction with Junior School Council, there will be a Teddy Bear picnic at lunch-time, also on Thursday, 2 April where the whole school will join together to eat their lunch on the oval (weather permitting) in one giant Park Ridge picnic!

On top of this, there will be a "Guess the teddy competition" running in the last week of term. Each teddy will have a set of four clues relating to the staff member who owns it. The aim is to correctly identify which teddy belongs to which staff member. More information will be provided closer to the date, but entry forms will be available throughout the last week and the winning entry will be drawn on the last day of term at the Teddy Bear picnic. The prize is a $50 Kmart voucher, proudly supplied by the EarlyAct Club.

Thank-you for your support.
