Physical Education News

Our annual House Cross Country event was held on Thursday, 5 March. Students had been training in their classes, year level sport session and PE lessons in the build up to the event. Whilst we acknowledge long distance running isn’t for everyone, resilience is one of our school values. We have been teaching our students that no matter the challenge put in front of you, you are better off approaching it with a growth mindset and giving it your all. I have been particularly impressed with the positive attitude of our students and their understanding of the importance of physical activity when maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The overall results were very close, with Flintoff being crowned the 2026 House Cross Country Champions for an amazing 4th year in a row! They were closely followed by Border, Curry and Lexcen.

Well done to our 2026 placegetters!
