RE Spotlight Around the School 

Foundation: Our youngest learners, the Foundation classes have been learning about who is in God's Kingdom. They discussed how God’s Kingdom is built on love, peace and welcoming others. To demonstrate their understanding the students created wonderful visual pieces showing who belongs in God’s Kingdom, reminding us all that everyone has a special place in God's family.

We have been learning about Jesus growing in and sharing his wisdom!

In Religion, our Year 1 and 2 students have been learning about the story of Jesus Calms the Storm. Through the story, students explored how Jesus showed wisdom by remaining calm, caring for his friends and helping them to trust during a frightening situation. Students reflected on times when they have felt worried or scared and discussed how people they trust can help them feel safe. They then retold the key events of the story in order on a timeline, demonstrating their understanding of Jesus’ wisdom and care for others.
