St Mary MacKillop Prayer Service  

A huge thank you to our Year 1/2 students and teachers for leading such a lovely St Mary MacKillop Prayer Service. It was wonderfully prepared and the whole school community thoroughly enjoyed coming together to celebrate and reflect.   Mary MacKillop (1842–1909), canonised as Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop, is Australia’s first and only canonised Catholic saint. Her legacy centers on educational reform, social justice and service to vulnerable communities across regional and suburban Australia.  St Mary MacKillop’s life and legacy offer timeless inspiration. Her core spiritual gifts, values and principles serve as a guide for everyone.

Father Shymon -  We send our warmest prayers and best wishes to Father Shymon as he begins his sabbatical in Rome. May this time of study, rest and spiritual renewal be truly enriching. We hold him in our prayers as he celebrates Mass in Rome and during any special opportunities to co-celebrate Mass with Pope Leo. We look forward to hearing all about this incredible adventure! Bravo Padre Shymon!
