SAPSASA BOYS KO SOCCER RESULTS R2
FINALS BOUND!
A huge congratulations to our Year 5/6 Boys KO Soccer Squad, who have progressed through Round 2 and secured their place in the Semi-Finals at ServiceFM Stadium!
The boys produced two fantastic performances, defeating Norwood Primary 11–0 and Stella Maris 4–1. Across both games, they moved the ball confidently, pressed well, combined effectively, and scored some outstanding team and individual goals.
This marks the 5th finals appearance for our LNPS boys in the past 9 years – an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the strength of soccer at LNPS!
We’re also incredibly proud to have both our Boys and Girls squads competing in the finals this year! Whatever the results, we know both teams will represent LNPS with pride, determination and great sportsmanship.
Good luck to our boys and girls! Aim High!
SAPSASA GIRLS KO SOCCER RESULTS R2
KO SAPSASA GIRLS SOCCER – THROUGH TO THE SEMI-FINALS!
What a game! Our LNPS girls are through to the KO SAPSASA Soccer semi-finals after a thrilling Round 2 victory over Fulham North!
It was an incredibly tight contest, with both teams playing some excellent football and creating big chances to try and take the lead. Some outstanding goalkeeping and determined defensive efforts for both teams kept the score locked at 0–0 at full time.
We are incredibly proud of the resilience shown by our LNPS girls. They continued to work hard, support each other and continued to push for the winning goal right until the final whistle.
With the scores level at the end of full time, it was straight to penalties! Thankfully, the girls had been practising their penalties with Coach Bayly for this exact moment and all that preparation paid off!
Lily James was incredible in goal, saving THREE penalties! Katerina, Sophia and Leila stepped up and buried their penalties with power to seal the shootout victory!
A huge congratulations to the entire team on their hard work, determination and composure under pressure. They thoroughly deserve their place in the finals!
SAPSASA KO BASKETBALL
On Friday the 21st of August, a group of year 5 and 6 students proudly represented LNPS in the SAPASA Schools Knockout Basketball Competition at St Clair Recreation Centre. Our boys and girls teams demonstrated outstanding determination, skill and sportsmanship throughout the day, winning a number of games each. While we did not progress to the next stage of the competition, we are super proud of their efforts. We would also like to thank the many parent volunteers for assisting with coaching and scoring on the day.
Congratulations to all of our players for their commitment and positive attitude. Well done!
