Year 4,5 & 6 Camp

A snapshot of what our students got up to.
It is critical for development that children learn to balance chaos and control.
Too often, we push for control, because it is easy to manage. (I certainly do!)
However, memorable moments and growth often happen when we let go about and embrace a bit of chaos....not out of control, but just a level where we are unsure of what will happen.
It is what we always refer to as play. The ability to lean in, take a risk and understand things may go wrong.
That is why camp is so important. The stretch, they grow, they find limits.
Thanks to Pauline who organised the camp, along with the teachers Mrs Feddersen, Mrs Lambden Grant and Miss Jordan Munro, along with our education support team, Miss Mia WIlkinson, Mr Thomas Howe and Mr Kelemen Dominic, camps and these experiences don't happen without you.
