Principal's Message

Respect, Responsibility and Teamwork.

Always Being Your Best.

Wow!  The end of term has arrived upon us incredibly quickly, and I wish to thank each and every one of you for your connection to our school and for the commitment and hard work you show every day in supporting your children to be ready for learning.

Please remember we have early finish 2:30pm today, Thursday 2nd April.

We end a fantastic term that has seen some significant accomplishments with our Foundation students beginning their schooling and settling into their learning spaces with their peers and new teachers, the entire student group beginning their learning with rigour and intent.

We have all worked together to make this happen, some students have required additional support to ensure that they were ready to learn. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to make this happen and for that we applaud and thank them.

Classroom update

Our Grade 3 area has been amalgamated from three classes to two. We have contacted the parents of those students who are moving to a new grade. The feedback from parents has been very supportive, as they trust that we always have the very best learning outcome for our students in mind when we make changes.

Yesterday our Year One and Two students had their excursion to Deborah Goldmine which from all reports the children enjoyed immensely. It is so wonderful to get reports back from the venue and staff on just how well behaved our students from KFPS are, well done everyone!

Congratulations to all participants in Crazy Hair Day today! Thank you for the valuable gold coin donations to the Bendigo Community Health Children's Ward! KFPS raised $154 today!

Happy Easter to all the families that celebrate this event! The school holidays back straight on to Easter this year which happens every now and then. I hope those families travelling over this holiday period have a safe and relaxing time.

Parking near the school

We know parking is tight and many parents get here early to secure a close spot, parking over a driveway or on our neighbours' lawn/nature strip is not an option.

City of Greater Bendigo Council and The Bendigo Police will continue to monitor our area to ensure the safety off our students the school in Term 2.

Thank you
