Principal's Report

Dear Students and Families,

As we head towards the final weeks of Term 3, we have had a really busy term with so many special events and weeks with Public Education Week, Bullying. No Way Week, Book Week, the Book Fair, SAS Week to acknowledge our wonderful school administration and support staff and Science Week, including the Science competition and two science incursions! We had the Athletics Carnival and Zone Athletics Carnival for students in Years 3 to 6. The P&C held fundraising events with the Spare Change Challenge and the Father's Day stall. Thank you for your ongoing support of all these events.

Upcoming Events and Important Dates this term include: 

• Parent Workshop on Tuesday 8 September at 9.30am on Term 4 topics and Problem Solving
• Public Speaking tryouts on Thursday 10 September for students in Stages 2 & 3
• R U OK? Day on Thursday 10 September
• SSW Athletics Carnival for eligible students in Years 3-6 on Wednesday 16 September
• Premier's Reading Challenge closing on Friday 18 September
• K-2 Athletics Carnival on Thursday 24 September.

We do our best to keep families informed of the many opportunities and events happening at school (please check the calendar section in each newsletter) and we encourage families to reach out with questions or feedback to our school's email.
