Clay Target Shooting 

Howard and Schuback Clay Target Competition on Monday 22 June, saw 30 CCS students compete against shooters from all around Gippsland.

Three of our students performed to an exceptionally high standard – we congratulate Myles Witt, Charli Hall and Ella Missen on their top two placings in the Junior Boys and Junior Girls competitions respectively.

After two rounds, Myles and Charlie – along with a student from another school – all finished on 17/20 targets hit, forcing a three-way shoot off to determine final individual placings.  

Myles hit all five of his targets in the decider to claim first place overall, while Charlie held his nerve in a follow-up shoot-off to claim second place.

Paddy Shaw was just one target back from the placings, finishing in 4th with 16/20 targets hit. Ella also tied for first place overall after her two rounds, finishing runner up after a shoot-off.

Thank you to all parents, carers and families for their support of this event, which was another supremely run competition by Sale Field and Game.
