Senior Studies Evening

Tonight, we will be hosting our annual Senior Studies Evening in the Drama and Student Centre from 5:00pm. The purpose of the evening is to provide parents/guardians and students with important information in relation to educational pathways. This is a critical time for making choices regarding the final years of secondary school that will ultimately impact the next phase in the lives of our young people.

Pathway information and guidance will be provided on the night and therefore attending the evening is crucial. This will be followed by students completing preliminary subject selections. Further interviews and counselling for individual students will be conducted prior to finalising their pathway and subject selections.

The evening will run as follows:

5:00 - 5:30       Pathways Presentation in the  Drama Centre

5:30 - 6:30       Subject-Specific Chat in the Student Centre

• Students will have the opportunity to informally chat to teachers regarding subject-specific content

• Students will have the opportunity to discuss VET and SBAT options with Highlands LLEN

• With the assistance of a parent/guardian, students will document their subject selections
