Hamilton Eisteddfod Results

Our students delivered outstanding performances at the Hamilton Eisteddfod last week, achieving impressive results across both Dance and Speech & Drama categories.  We are incredibly proud of their dedication and talent.

 

Dance Results

 

Top Placings

  • Delaney Hol – 1st place in 14 yrs & over Contemporary Dance Duo/Trio, 3rd place in Theatrical Dance Duo/Trio

  • Mia Spong – 2nd place in 14–16 yrs Lyrical Solo, 3rd place in Classical Ballet Solo, and recipient of the Hamilton Eisteddfod Classical Ballet Scholarship

  • Harriet Kent – 3rd place in 16 yrs & over Lyrical Solo

Honourable Mentions

  • Imogen Brandenburg – 12–14 yrs Novice Classical Solo

  • Mia Spong – 14–16 yrs Jazz Dance Solo, Contemporary Dance Solo, Open Jazz Dance Championship

  • Harriet Kent – 16 yrs & over Classical Ballet Solo

Also Competed

  • Peyton Payne, Ruby Kelson, Maddison Munro, Indiana Mibus, and Annabel Anderson participated across multiple dance categories, showcasing great effort and skill.

Speech & Drama Results

  • Sophie Hill – 1st place in Original Piece (Poem or Prose) Solo, 2nd place in Group Performance with the Dramus Group, Honourable Mention in Poetry Recital Solo

  • Riley Lucas – 1st place in Group Performance with the Dramus Group, Honourable Mention in Poetry Recital Solo

Community Drama Opportunity

Dramus Theatre is excited to announce their upcoming end-of-year production of Peter Pan and is inviting young performers to audition!

 

🎭 Auditions:  Tuesday, 8th July

Open to:  Students aged 15 and under

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for any aspiring actors or performers to gain experience on stage and be part of a community production.
