Prayer

Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart Jesus
Lord,
we come before your Sacred Heart
to ask you for protection,
and to comfort the fears
and uncertainties we may encounter.
Give us the courage to continue
and let us recognise that you are with us
guiding us, protecting us and holding us in your arms.
Our hearts await everything from you.
You keep encouraging us to look for You.
We trust in you, Sacred Heart.
Amen
Feast of the Sacred Heart – Celebrating Love in Action
The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is a deeply meaningful Catholic devotion that focuses on the heart of Jesus Christ as a powerful symbol of God's infinite love, mercy, and compassion. Celebrated on the Friday after the second Sunday after Pentecost, this feast invites us to reflect on Christ’s divine love and challenges us to embody that love in our own lives.
This Friday, we will celebrate this special feast day with a school Mass, led by our Year 2–6 SRCs and Student Voice Leaders. All are warmly welcome to join us for this meaningful occasion.
In the spirit of the Sacred Heart, which inspires acts of kindness and service, our Year 4 students have taken the lead in a donation drive throughout the month in support of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. With great dedication and enthusiasm, they have collected a wide range of essential items—pantry staples, toiletries, baby supplies, pet food, and more.
We are incredibly grateful to our generous school community for supporting this initiative. Your donations will be delivered to our local St. Vincent de Paul centre later this week, offering comfort and support to those in need.
Together, we honour the Sacred Heart of Jesus not just through prayer, but through love in action.
