Year 4 News

The Year 4s have been learning about materials and sustainability in Inquiry. Students learnt about the properties of different materials, how long materials take to break down, and the effects these materials have on the environment when not disposed of correctly. The students have applied their knowledge to different objects we use everyday and created a display to help others in the school understand the effects of these objects on the environment. We encourage you to come and see our ‘What a Waste!’ wall next to the canteen. We also have some information about Plastic Free July, and initiative to help reduce our plastic waste. Please have a look and challenge yourself to some changes you can make in July!
