A Prayer to St. Rita

When in Special Need

O powerful St Rita, rightly called Saint of the Impossible,

I come to you with confidence in my great need.

You know well my trials, for you yourself were many times burdened in this life.

Come to my aid, speak for me,pray with me, intercede on my behalfbefore the Father.

I know that God has a most generous heartand that He is a most loving Father.

Join your prayers to mineand obtain for me the grace I desire………………

(here mention your request).

You who were so very pleasing to God on earthand are so much now in Heaven,

I promise to use this favour, when granted, to better my life,

to proclaim God’s Mercyand to make you more widely known and loved.

Amen.

Dear St Martha’s Families,

Happy St Rita’s Feast Day today!

It was great to hear that all Mums and Grandmothers had a blessed Mother’s Day.

Thank you to the Pope Francis Students who led a beautiful Tribute to Pope Francis on the evening before Pope Leo XIV was elected.

Here is one of the videos that we showed during our Tribute to Pope Francis:

Habemus Papam!

Leo XIV, PREVOST Card. Robert Francis, O.S.A.

In his first words as Pontiff, he greeted the world with a simple but powerful message

“We have to look together how to be a missionary Church, building bridges, dialogue, always open to receiving with open arms for everyone, like this square, open to all.”
