🌭 Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser: This Sunday 23 November (Coburg)
It’s almost here! A huge thank you to all the volunteers who’ve signed up to help keep the BBQ running smoothly throughout the day.
If you’re not rostered on, please swing by, say hello, and grab a sausage in bread - every sizzle supports our school!
🗓️Final P&C Meeting for 2025
Please join us for the final P&C meeting of the year.
Where: Woodlands Hotel
When: Wednesday 3 December - 6.15pm - 7.30pm with drinks to follow.
All are welcome! We’d love to see all the amazing volunteers who have contributed throughout the year. Come for the meeting, or join us afterward - let’s celebrate a great year together.
🧻 Who Gives a Crap Toilet Paper Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who placed a bulk order for toilet paper, tissues and paper towel. Pickup times will be shared soon - stay tuned.
🎤 Merri-bek Primary’s Famous Comedy Night: A HUGE Success!
What a night! Six phenomenal female comedians had the audience in absolute stitches.A massive shoutout to our hilarious host Claire Hooper for curating such an incredible lineup featuring Bron Lewis, Celia Pacquola, Jo Gowda, Ethel Chop, and a special guest appearance from Janty Blair.
Together, we raised an amazing $16,000 for our school!
Thanks to the generosity and energy of our school community, we smashed ticket sales records, the raffle was a hit, the bar was buzzing, and the silent auction sparked some fierce bidding wars over thousands of dollars’ worth of donations from local Brunswick and Coburg businesses. The love for Merri-bek Primary is real!

Preps 2026 - Parent Morning Tea
A big thank you to P&C Committee members Nell Woods, Laura Vines and Victoria Heaton for firing up the coffee machine and hosting a morning tea for new prep parents last week.
The sun was shining, the coffees were flowing, and it was a lovely opportunity for families to meet each other ahead of an exciting year to come.
