Focus: Whole School Events, Excursions, and Camps

Welcome to the 4th edition of Attendance Matters. This edition highlights the upcoming whole school events, excursions, and camps. Please take note of the following key information.

Term 2 Events at EMC

We have several events scheduled for Term 2, and it is important to familiarise yourself with EMC’s Camps and Excursions Policy, which can be found in the College Policies section on the Elisabeth Murdoch College website - College Policies – Elisabeth Murdoch College

Athletics Day – Tuesday 13th May

Our first whole school event for Term 2 will be Athletics Day on Tuesday, 13th May. This event is compulsory for all students, and we encourage everyone to participate and enjoy a day out with their peers. If your child cannot attend due to medical reasons, please submit an attendance note on Compass along with a medical certificate.

Interschool Sports

For students participating in Inter School Sports this term, a reminder that if they return early to school, they must head directly to their scheduled class and should not sign out early.

Year-Level Events and Camps

If students are unable to attend year-level events, including camps, they will be enrolled in an alternate event on-site at EMC, where they will be supervised. This alternative event will be listed on the student’s Compass.
