Principal's News

Dear Parents/Carers,

This week we celebrate our biannual Book Fair, and it was wonderful to see the kids' excitement as the truck rocked up to school to drop off the books! The buzz around the library has been infectious, with students eagerly browsing and discovering new titles to add to their wish list.

A huge thank you to Mrs McVilly for all the hard work she has put into organising the Book Fair, and for her ongoing dedication to promoting a love of reading amongst our students. The Book Fair will be open each day this week after school until Thursday 30th July from 3:15 - 4:00 pm if parents/guardians would like to come and view the Book Fair. Every book purchased is an investment in our students' learning and imagination. Thank you for helping our library continue to inspire young readers.

Virtual Tour Year 1 Dinosaurs

This week, our Year 1 students, as part of their Dinosaur study, will connect with the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History through a virtual excursion. During this tour, the students will dive into Australia's prehistory, looking at fossils from across the country. With live activities, interactive quizzes and thought-provoking questions, our Year 1 students will deepen their knowledge and understanding of Australia's prehistoric past.

Father’s Day

Dads, grab your calendars. Friday 4th September, 8 am, is all about you!

Join us in the Multi-Purpose Room for a delicious breakfast, with the fantastic Lions Club firing up the BBQs to cook up sausages, hamburgers, and onions. Tea and coffee will be flowing to keep you fuelled.

Just like our much-loved Mother's Day celebration, we'll have a photo booth to capture the memories, board games for some friendly family fun and the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom. There will be table tennis in the courtyard, so bring your competitive spirit and see who's got the best backhand and an option to try your hand at baseball on the oval.

Come along, relax, and enjoy a morning celebrating our wonderful dads. More details to follow soon!

Kind regards,

Karl Dwyer
