We're shining a spotlight on our incredible School-Based Apprentices and Trainees (SBAT) and EVET students who are building strong futures through hard work, determination, and cultural pride.

50 Years of Deadly Celebrating Our Sport Captain Nya Quinlan
We recognise our amazing Sport Captain, Nya Quinlan.
Nya is an active and engaged member of the ASC community who plays a leading role in promoting and embodying our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience. She proudly represented the Aboriginal Dance Ensemble for School Spectacular in 2025, showcasing her cultural pride and talent.
Nya’s incredible spirit shines on the court as well, playing for the 18s Australian First Nations Budgies Netball team in Fiji, where they proudly secured third place! Competing against strong teams from New Zealand, Samoa, Fiji, and Australian teams from Perth and Ballarat, Nya’s impressive performance earned her selection once again for the 18s Australian First Nations Budgies Netball team. She has also competed in the NSWCHS Opens Girls Netball and is a valued member of the Lyāmbay Dance Group. Additionally, Nya is part of the prestigious 2026 NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company, among many other achievements.
Nya consistently demonstrates outstanding leadership by hosting school assemblies, upholding our school values, and fully engaging in her learning. She positively influences her peers through her actions and leads by example.
We are incredibly proud to celebrate Nya’s achievements and her ongoing contribution to our school community during NAIDOC Week.
We want to wish our Year 12 students the very best of luck for the rest of the year — only 12 weeks to go! We can’t wait to see you all achieve incredible things in so many different and amazing ways.
Your strength, resilience, and pride inspire us every day. As you move forward through this important time, remember that your community is behind you, cheering you on all the way.
