NAIDOC Week 2026

NAIDOC Week will take place during the school holiday break, from the 5th - 12th of July. This special week recognises and celebrates the history, culture, achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is an opportunity for all Australians to learn more about and show their respect for our First Nations peoples.

Although NAIDOC Week falls during the holidays, our school will acknowledge and celebrate it in the first week of Term 3. Students will have opportunities to learn about Indigenous cultures, traditions, stories and connections to Country through a range of classroom & specialist activities.

We encourage families to explore and celebrate NAIDOC Week together during the break. Below are some NAIDOC Week activities and ideas for families to enjoy together.

As we head into the Winter break, we wish all of our students and families a safe, restful and enjoyable holiday. We hope you have the opportunity to relax, stay warm, and spend quality time together.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting Term 3!
