Parents and Friends
Dear families,
The 2026 school year is well underway! It will be great to see families at Hello Night this evening.
It has been great to see students settle into the year. Welcome to new families who have joined the St Brendan’s School community, it is great to see existing families around school also.
The P&F support the school to run events and fundraisers throughout the year. Fundraising efforts in previous years have gone towards sports equipment, books, games and other resources for the students.
We welcome all families to be involved in supporting the school through P&F activities. It is a great way to get to know others in the school community!
There is no commitment, you don’t need to join the committee you can just help out when available. We are also keen to hear from families with any ideas.
Examples of previous activities the P&F have been involved in include:
- Fundraising events – Zooper Dooper Fridays, Easter Raffle
- Social events – Pizza Party, parent social nights
- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Stall
Over the last two weeks the P&F have sold around 420 Zooper Doopers on Fridays. A nice treat for students while the weather has been warm.
Tickets for the Easter Raffle will be sent home soon. This is a popular event – see more details below. Last year around 40 prizes were drawn as part of the raffle.

Current events and fundraisers
Zooper Dooper Friday
The Parents and Friends will continue selling Zooper Doopers on Fridays at lunch time until the end of the Term.
Zooper Doopers will be $1.00 each, a maximum of 2 per student. Students are encouraged to bring coins for payment, notes will not be accepted.
This term Grade 6 students will also be helping sell the Zooper Doopers.
Easter Raffle
We are pleased to again be organising the Easter Raffle!
Raffle tickets will be sent home with students this week. Tickets are $1 each, please make sure to write a name and phone number on each ticket sold.
Tickets and money are to be returned to school by Monday 30 March 2026.
More raffle tickets are available from the office.
Raffle prizes will be drawn on the last day of term, Thursday 2 April, and winners can collect their prizes at the special school assembly or will be contacted to collect prize.
This year, funds raised will contribute to capital works projects, new classroom furniture, and additional learning resources for our school. These improvements will directly support the teaching and learning environment for all students.
Seeking donations
The P&F are kindly seeking small donations of easter items that will be used as prizes - items like chocolate easter eggs, craft, books etc. Only new store-bought items accepted.
Items can be sent to school with students up until Monday 30 March.
Donations will be used to make up prizes - hopefully multiple prizes allowing chances for lots of raffle winners!

Easter Colouring Competition
Colouring pages for the Easter Colouring Competition will be sent home with students in early March.
Completed colouring pages will be due back to the school office by Tuesday 31 March.
Prizes will be presented on Thursday 2 April. There will be one prize for each class.

P&F Involvement
Involvement in the P&F and the school community comes in all different forms and doesn't need to be a big time commitment.
Please reach out to the P&F if you may be able to help out during the year. Requests for help are sent out via PAM/Simon and the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member – please contact us to have a chat. Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.

If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.
