Building Skills for the Future!
It was great to catch up with Cooper during a recent workplace visit.Cooper is completing his Head Start School Based Apprenticeship (SBAT) with Toby Gray and is making excellent progress. He is enjoying the hands-on experience and developing valuable industry skills.
A big thank you to Toby for providing Cooper with the opportunity to learn in a real workplace environment and supporting him as he works towards his future career goals.
Well done, Cooper – keep up the great work!
A great visit out to Koorangie Farms to catch up with Henry and see how he is progressing in his Head Start School Based Traineeship in Agriculture.
Henry is showing great initiative in the workplace, especially with livestock work, and continues to build strong industry skills while balancing school and training commitments. It’s fantastic to hear such positive feedback from his employer about his attitude, teamwork and willingness to take on responsibility.
Well done Henry on the effort you are putting into your future career pathway!
Year 12 student Abe is thriving in his Head Start SBAT with North Fabrications & Hydraulics Pty Ltd while completing his Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade.From working on the lathe to building his practical skills in the workshop, Abe is showing great dedication and enthusiasm for the trade industry.
He is also doing extremely well at trade school, balancing his studies and workplace training with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.It’s fantastic to see young people gaining real industry experience and creating strong pathways into their future careers.
A huge thank you to Dave and Mel from North Fabrications & Hydraulics Pty Ltd for providing Abe with this valuable opportunity and ongoing support.

Harrison is making great progress through his School-Based Apprenticeship with AB Building
Working within the engineering industry, Harrison is gaining valuable hands-on experience, developing practical skills and building confidence in the workplace.
He has also recently completed his first trade school block and enjoyed the experience.
Employer feedback has been extremely positive, with Harrison praised for his mature attitude, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to different tasks and work environments.
