Principal's Post

Dear Families,

We had a lovely whole school celebration on Friday afternoon centred on our term value of "Kindness."

The Gold coin donation and wearing of colourful clothes set the tone for the day. Funds raised will be donated to: The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation which provides clinically designed, evidence based mental health education programs, in a fun recreational setting, to young people aged 8-18 years who are living in a family impacted by mental illness. Click on the Student Wellbeing Page for more info.

House Leaders Fitness Initiative

Tomorrow, our Year Six House Leaders are commencing Tuesday Morning Fitness on the netball court at 8.30am. This will conclude at 8.45am when the music to move into classrooms plays. On arrival students can take their bag to the spot outside their classroom and head to the netball court to join their house colour team. Students are encouraged to wear whatever they usually wear on a Tuesday. No special clothing or footwear is necessary.

School Jackets

We have a large number of school jackets in lost property, so please encourage your child to look for theirs if they are missing one. Also, we are hoping you will help get the message across at home the importance of valuing and respecting property, including our own and taking accountability for jackets. We are experiencing very cold mornings at present, so please do encourage your children to dress warmly and appropriately for the season.
