Dear Parents and Carers,
Wrapping Up Semester One!
As we head into the final three weeks of Term 2, our classrooms are buzzing with activity. Both staff and students are working hard to wrap up their Semester One content across all Key Learning Areas.
Over the coming weeks, teachers will be looking at a combination of assessment tasks, daily classwork and professional judgment to prepare your child’s mid-year report. These reports offer a comprehensive look at their progress throughout the first half of the year.
Thank you for your continued support as we finish the term strong!
Morning Supervision and Manilla OOSH
We are excited that Manilla OOSH has officially commenced at St Michael’s! With this new program up and running, we want to share a quick reminder regarding morning arrivals.
If your child arrives at school before 8:30 AM (which is when school staff supervision begins), they must sit and wait in the designated area for morning duty to start, just as they normally would. Students are not permitted to join or interact with the OOSH program unless they are officially booked in for the session.
Our strong preference is that children do not arrive at school before 8:30 AM unless they are attending OOSH. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping all our students safe and supervised!
Enjoy a fabulous weekend,
Bronwyn
