Prayer for times of transition

God of Love,

You are with us in every transition and change.

As we enter into this new era at St Bernard’s with excitement and even some uncertainty, we recall your deep compassion, presence, and abounding love.

We thank you for the gifts, talents and skills with which you have blessed St Bernard’s community.

We thank you for the experiences that have brought us to this moment.

We thank you for the work of others that gives breadth and depth to our own work. Be with us as we move forward, rejoicing with you and supporting one another. We ask this in your Holy Name.

Amen

Dear St Bernard’s Families,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome I have received. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every student and family at St Bernard’s: your stories, hopes and dreams for our school. As I walk through St Bernard’s school I can definitely feel the warmth, welcome, compassion and spirit.

I felt extremely blessed to be part of my first ever St Bernard’s Mission Fete last Friday. Watching the excitement and delight on the students' faces as they wandered around the stalls was heartwarming. It was also wonderful to see students respectfully waiting their turn, using manners and supporting each other. Thank you for all your support  in ensuring the Mission Fete was a huge success. As a school we raised nearly $2000 for Catholic Mission and Opening the Doors Foundation. What a remarkable effort!

Please RSVP your attendance to schooladmin@stbernardscoburg.catholic.edu.au.  I am looking forward to meeting many families at these sessions.

Please click on this link  to view the video recording. The link will be active for three months and can be downloaded an unlimited number of times until removed. We certainly have some very skilled and talented Circus performers here at St Bernard’s!

I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy some much needed sunshine.

A reminder that we have our Bunnings BBQ at Coburg Bunnings on Sunday 25th October.

We urgently need more volunteers to help out on the day, currently we only have 6 out of the 16 spaces filled. Please see the BPC page to sign up.

Please let your family and friends know and pop on down to Bunnings to grab a delicious sizzling sausage and support our community fundraiser.
