Updates from the Leadership Team
Dear Parents, Care Givers, Students, Staff and Friends of St Francis' Primary School,
Term Two has started well for staff and students at St Francis’ PS Nathalia. Staff learned a great deal about student engagement in our Day One Professional Learning Day- Ambitiously Sandhurst. This learning continues to guide our work as educators.
Last Thursday we joined the SMOTA community to reflect on the history of the ANZACs. The student-led commemorative service was dignified and poignant, serving as a timely reminder to be grateful for the peace and prosperity we experience daily.
Our Grade 3-6 students joined Father Andrew for Mass on Monday morning, praying on the example of Mary Mother of Good Counsel.
A warm welcome back to Katie Barnes from Maternity Leave. Katie is with us on a Thursday and Friday and has picked up the role of Learner Diversity Leader.
What an amazing afternoon it was today with our Emergency Services Recognition Day. A huge thank you to the Nathalia Police, Nathalia CFA, Numurkah SES, Nathalia CERT, and Numurkah Paramedics for joining us. See the wonderful photos below
