A Big Thank You to Regional Australia Bank!
We're thrilled to share that the Glen Innes High School P&C has earned $688.43 in Regional Australia Bank's 2025–2026 Community Partnership Program! This generous contribution is a fantastic boost and we're so grateful to be recognised as a valued part of the Regional Australia Bank community.

Supporting our Year 7s of 2027
At our last meeting, the P&C committed to contributing towards bus costs for the 2027 Year 7 excursion. By helping cover this cost, we can keep the excursion affordable so that every student has the chance to take part. Starting High School is a big step, and this excursion is a wonderful way for our new Year 7s to build friendships and connections with their peers right from the beginning.
This will be the focus of our fundraising for the end of the year, with two exciting fundraisers coming up: a Peony fundraiser in partnership with the GIPS P&C, and a Real Christmas Tree fundraiser with Hillview Real Christmas Trees. Keep an eye out early next term for all the details on how you can support our fundraising efforts.

Sue Larkey Parent and Community Evening
What a fantastic night! The parent and community evening with Sue Larkey was well attended, and it was lovely to see so many families and community members come together. Sue shared a wealth of valuable information and practical ideas, and the conversations that followed showed just how much it meant to those who came along.
The evening session followed the GIPS and GIHS staff session and was made possible through the combined support of the two public schools and their P&Cs, a wonderful example of our two school communities working together to create opportunities for students and families across both schools. A big thank you to Sue, to everyone who helped make the night happen, and to all who attended.
