Choir
There are still some exciting performance opportunities ahead for our Cavendish Primary School Choir!
Our next choir performance is South West Sing at the Warrnambool Agricultural Show on Saturday 31 October. Children under 15 can attend the Show for free, making this a wonderful opportunity for our young singers to perform and enjoy the day.
We have been learning our three songs during class time — Yellow Submarine, Nanuma and Try Everything — and we are looking forward to performing alongside other young singers from across the region!
I need to confirm our final numbers by ASAP, so please let me know if your child would like to take part via the following link:

Drama
It's official! Our original student-created play, Mysterious Mayhem, is coming to life!
The students have worked alongside AI technology to conceptualise, develop and create their own original play. They should have now learnt their lines and will be coming back next term to start rehearsing in the Wannon Stadium.
⭐ Performance Date: Wednesday 21 October at 6:00 pm
We look forward to sharing Mysterious Mayhem with our school community in Week 3 next term.
Costume notes went home with your child yesterday, please take the time to organise this for your child over the holidays. It is very minimal as a lot of accessories we already have in our costume department at school. If the note has disappeared see a copy below:

Music
Whilst the play is taking up much of our time at the moment, we continue to work hard on our music program, particularly in the Junior School. The students are making fantastic progress and producing a much-improved sound as a recorder ensemble. Our drumming is also coming along beautifully, with students confidently practising their ti-ti ta rhythms and developing their ensemble skills.
Dance
You’ll have to wait and see our moves in the upcoming play! There’s nothing quite like a good old-fashioned barnyard wiggle!
Have a fantastic holiday break! I am looking forward to an exciting Term 4!
