Well, that is a wrap! What an incredible few days we all had full of fun, laughter, excitement, persistence, and pure joy. Everyone involved from students to staff to parents, all did an amazing job contributing to what was a magnificent concert. Thank you specifically to all parent helpers throughout the lead up to the performances as well as helping backstage. It was absolutely a team effort. I am sure there were some tired heads over the weekend, however it was all worth it!
Don’t forget to order your USB recording of the concert via QKR as well as a class photo.

STEM Showcase
Good luck to Amity, Zoe, Will S and Flynn who have been selected to participate in the STEM showcase today at Buninyong. Hosted by the 3D software company Makers’ Empire, they will join students from 10 schools in the gym to show what they can do with 3D design.
The showcase will provide an opportunity for students from the participating schools to showcase their work, skills and talents and present their peers from other schools, along with other key stakeholders.
Swimming
Monday was a great start to our swimming program, with all students doing a great job in their lessons. Please remember bathers, goggles and a towel each day this week.
Young Authors’ Workshop
Also, another Goodluck to Amity who will be attending the third Young Authors' Workshop this Thursday (along with Mrs Anderson) at ACU. We are always so proud of the wonderful representation Scotsburn has at these types of events and opportunities. Well done, Amity!
Celebration of Learning - Wednesday September 18
In the final week of term on Wednesday, September 18 (5-7pm) we have the Celebration of Learning.
The Celebration of Learning is always a very popular event on our school’s calendar and is a wonderful opportunity for you to come along and get an insight into what your child/ren are learning at school.
All classroom spaces as well as specialist areas will be open for students to lead their families through to share their learning. We will be running a BBQ on the concrete throughout the night. We hope to see everyone there!
Scotsburn Intercampus Travel At times, Scotsburn students will be transported between campuses in order to attend classes, assemblies, special days and events. On most occasions, transport required through the day will be by bus and occasionally private car for smaller groups of students. Parents may be asked to drop off or collect from the Buninyong campus if sessions are at the beginning or ending of a day.
We will always let you know of any upcoming travel arrangements via our newsletter, Compass, or via phone for smaller, more specific travel arrangements. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding intercampus travel, please contact your child’s teacher. |
