Casting Arrangements for Performances

‘Moana Jr.’ will  be staged across two performances (11:00 am and 7:00 pm) at The Frankston Arts Centre on Monday, October 16th. Two students have been cast in each main role for the shows and have been allocated to perform at either one of the two performances. In exceptional circumstances, such as the illness of a peer in the alternate cast, some students may also be required to perform their lead role at both performances. This information was specified on the Audition Registration Form on Operoo, which parents and guardians acknowledged by accepting the Operoo request prior to auditions.

Parents and guardians of students playing lead roles may wish to secure tickets for both performances in case their son/daughter is required to perform in both performances. Ticket sales commenced at 10 am on Monday, August 28th. I am delighted to announce the following casting arrangements for the 2023 season of Moana JR:

School productions at St Brendan’s School are traditionally much anticipated highlights of community engagement in our school, occurring every second year.

Tickets

Please see the attached flyer for ticketing information. The performances (11:00 am and 7:00 pm) will provide families with two options to attend either (or both!) performance/s. This is great news for parents or carers who wish to take their younger children to Moana JR. during the daytime or invite elderly friends and relatives who may prefer to attend a daytime performance of Moana JR.

Production Day

As production day approaches, regular logistical updates will be posted in this newsletter, via Skoolbag and via Operoo for families. As this day is tightly scheduled due to the two performances all students will be required to be dropped at school at 8:15 am on Monday, October 16th for their bus departures. Please note this in your family schedule. Students will all be required back at the theatre between 6:15 pm and 6:30 pm depending on their role, for a 7:00 pm performance. The evening performance is expected to conclude at approximately 8:15 pm.

Yours in faith & harmony.
