Secondary School

What a big week in Secondary School!
This week, we have been celebrating the Year Twelve students as they graduate. On Monday, we had some lovely final House meetings where each Year Twelve was honoured by another student, often a younger student or sibling, and presented with a gift.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we held our Whole School Athletics Carnival, which was a real spectacle. It was great to see so many students participating in multiple events to earn points for their House. We will present the results and recognise the champion athletes at next Monday's assembly.
Today the Year Twelve students had their official last day of school. We started with breakfast, followed by a huge water fight between staff and students. We then planted the Leavers' Tree and rehearsed for tomorrow's Valedictory Chapel and Awards Assembly.
Tonight, we have our special Boarders' Graduation Dinner in the Hall, which will be another memorable occasion as we celebrate those students who do not just study here, but have called this place their home away from home. It will be wonderful to share their graduation with their families, with whom we have partnered so closely throughout their Secondary School journey.
Finally, we are really looking forward to tomorrow, when we will have the opportunity to honour and farewell the Year Twelves and celebrate alongside their families at the Valedictory Chapel and Awards Assembly.
It has been a huge week, and I thank all those who have been involved.
