Financial Assistance Information for Parents

CSEF
The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) provides payments to assist eligible families to cover the costs of camps, sporting activities, excursions and incursions.
If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.
From 1 January 2026, families eligible for CSEF will see an increase in support to $400 for primary school children, up from $154.
How to apply: New applicants should contact the school office to obtain a CSEF application form or may download the digital copy attached. Multiple students can be listed in the one application form.
Parents/carers that received the CSEF at Croydon Hills Primary School in 2025 do not need to complete an application form in 2026, providing there has been no change to their family circumstances. CSEF payments are for the current application year and cannot be claimed retrospectively for prior years.
We ask families to return your form and a copy of the current concession card at your earliest convenience. Croydon Hills Primary School will be accepting applications forms from families until 26 June 2026 as per the policy.
