From the Acting Head of Senior School

The past fortnight has been filled with energy, colour, and community as students and staff have taken part in a wide variety of events that showcase the vibrant life of our Senior School and the way that we celebrate community spirit.
Middle School Production – Spamalot
Laughter echoed through the Black Box Theatre as our talented students in Years 7-9 brought the hilarious musical Spamalot Young@Part to life. From sharp comedic timing to impressive musical numbers, the production highlighted the creativity and confidence of our young performers. Congratulations to the cast, crew, and staff for their hard work in delivering such a joyful and memorable performance.
RUOK? Day Netball Game
To mark RUOK? Day, students and staff came together for the much-anticipated Staff vs Students netball match last week. Played in great spirit, the game was fast, competitive, and full of laughter, and fittingly ended in a draw. The match was a wonderful reminder of the importance of connection and looking out for one another.
Footy Colours Day
The Senior School was awash with scarves, guernseys, and team colours as students celebrated Footy Colours Day on Wednesday. More than just a chance to show club pride, the day raised funds in support of the Fight Cancer Foundation. Thank you to all who donated and joined in the fun for such an important cause.
Imagine Day – Welcoming Future Year 7s
We recently welcomed the Year 7 Class of 2026 to the Senior School for Imagine Day as part of their orientation program. These students experienced a taste of life in Year 7 through engaging activities and the chance to meet their future teachers and classmates. The day was an exciting first step in their Senior School journey, and we look forward to welcoming them back for more orientation days before officially welcoming them next year.
Together, these events have highlighted the spirit of participation, generosity, and connection that lies at the heart of our school community.
