Year 9 & 10 PASS students were able to explore opportunities and pathways for future career & study options in their excursion to visit both the Gold Coast Titans and Griffith University.
NSW Netball Schools Cup Yr 5/6 Competition
The NSW Netball Schools Cup Yr 5/6 Competition was held in Ballina on Tuesday. RCC teams played well with one of our teams finishing the competition undefeated and proceeding to the Regional finals in Lismore next Wednesday. Thanks to the parents who helped coach on the day. Well done students!
NSW Netball Yrs 7-10 Schools Cup
Students competed in the NSW Netball Yrs 7-10 Schools Cup in Lismore. Our teams did very well with a large number of schools competing from all over the region. The Yr 7/8 Boys finished 3rd; 9/10 Boys 5th overall, 9/10 girls 5th in their pool and 7/8 girls 7th overall.
Thanks to Mrs Whitty for helping our staff on the day. Congrats to all our players! Well done Team RCC!
Tournament of Minds
Congratulations to students in the Stage 5 Excellence Program who used a diverse range of skills to solve a complex social science challenge and win the regional competition of Tournament of the Minds. They are now off to Sydney to compete in the State Finals!
Lismore Eistedfodd
Our students continued to shine their God given gifts and talents as they performed at the Lismore Eisteddfod with wonderful results: K-2 Choir 1st; Yr 3-4 Choir 1st; K-6 Chapel Choir 2nd; Year 5-6 Dance Group 2nd and Year 7-8 Dance Group 1st. Congratulations to all the performers!
Congratulations to our Junior School for being a winner in the Wushka Readathon!
Each of the winning schools has won a $500 MTA voucher to spend on Literacy resources.
Congratulations to our CSSA State Athletes
Congratulations to our CSSA State Secondary Athletics team who recently competed in Sydney. Oscar placed 4th in the overall 13 yrs age champion and Stella came 2nd in the overall 14 yrs girls age champion. Bella, Stella, Oscar and Nate have all qualified for the CSSA State Secondary Athletics Team to complete at the CIS State Secondary Athletics on 23 September. Well done team!
