I dressed up all in pink as we got to pick one colour for our book pink is my favourite and all of our class was different colours. The book was called colours of home

I wore ALL purple, I like purple. I had purple shirt and tutu and leggings. 

The girl in the book is called Bomi

In class we have been learning about countries by hiding broccoli in different countries. Amen Jax and Alistair are in my group. I  have sort of had fun doing this activity.

The people in my group are Ellie, Anna, Harriet drawing and using newspaper to hide the broccoli in our poster and i think it is a really fun task.

For book week our class had the book Tiwii in Paris and I dressed up as a baker.I had lots of fun playing and doing lots of fun activities. My experience with Jo Dabrowski was very fun and talked about persuasive writing .

For book week I dressed up as a ballerina but my classes costumes were so interesting we met a author Jo Dabrowski.

In class we have been reading and learning  about the wild robot and how Roz is stranded on an island and how she survives when she got caught in the sea and that's how she got to the island.

In class we have been learning about decimals and how we colour 1 square of a 10 bar column. For example if 4 were coloured in the fraction would be 4/10 and the decimal would be 0.4.

For the concert we are doing school of rock. In the concert my role is a backup singer. My friends and I have a fun dance to do as part of our role as backup singers. I am very excited for the concert.

For the 5/6Js concert we are doing The School of Rock. In the concert the character I am playing the keyboard on the Gurtair is Hugo,Xavier and Oscar, on the drums is Vedder, the backup singers are Tavi,Holly and Chloe and Mr.S is Tom we have all had lots of fun.

For our homework projects we have been focusing on saints and inspirational people. Y6s are doing saints and Y5s are doing inspirational people. I did Sam Docherty, an ex AFL player who played for Carlton and had testicular cancer. I picked him because he is one of my favourite players and is very brave.

  I presented on the 17 of August.

This was one of the most interesting projects ever, I really enjoyed it.

In homework we have been doing slideshow presentations about 2 different kinds of people. The year 5s have been doing inspirational people but the year 6s are doing saints. I did jenni hermoso a spanish football player.I did jenni hermoso because she was an inspirational women by winning the first womens world cup for spain.I presented my project on the 25th of August it was so fun! While making my project it was so exciting with all the questions and fun add ons. Homework this term has been incredible.

I am playing a funny person and russian dancer in the Italian concert. I am looking forward to presenting Pinicchio to everyone

 We all had to audition, many for

Pinocchio but some of us for specific roles like 

A ballerina or an acrobat.

Everyone was happy with their roles 

And everyone tries their best.

I think that everyone's role 

Suits them and even if they didn't get 

What they wanted they got something even

Better.

The italian concert was directed by Miss P, it's based on Pinnocho and everyone got to choose a role.

The Italian concert is so great because it's created a community every year we do it. This year it has brought everyone together and everyone has put so much work in it. Miss P makes it so much fun for us.
