Foundation (Prep)
This week in Prep, we have been practising going on a pattern walk around school in anticipation for our community walk later in the term. We have practised looking for patterns in everyday spaces, such as on the trees, on the floor and in artwork. Prep have been creating their own patterns using, ‘Cave Baby,’ as a prompt. They love painting the spots on the hyena, stripes on the hare, stars on the tiger and squiggles inside the bear!
Last week in Prep, we had a special celebration. It was 100 days of Prep! We had a special assembly and craft morning to celebrate all the students hard work. Well done Prep!

Foundation (Year 1-2)
In 1/2A this week, we have had lots of fun learning to write about the characters from our book ‘Meg and Mog.’ We have been using the Handwriting without Tears program to focus writing on lower case letters. For inquiry this term we are looking at materials around us. We investigated some plastic and some wooden materials in the playground.
Lower Primary (Years 3-4)
🌟 3/4B Class News 🌟
This term in 3/4B, students have been enthusiastically exploring Materials and Their Properties through our Inquiry Learning unit. Students have been investigating different types of materials and discovering how their unique properties make them suitable for different purposes. As part of their learning, students designed and created their own wind chimes using a variety of materials.
Great job everyone.
