Open Streets 2023

Over the course of the year we have been involved in the Open Streets Initiative where we close a part of Blair Street to allow pedestrians to ride, scoot, skate or walk to school safely and enjoy participating in many activities outside the school.

It has been a huge success and wouldn’t be possible without the help of our lovely parent volunteers who completed a training and volunteer course, and also volunteer their mornings and afternoons to close the street and ensure it is kept safe. A big thank you to; Tess McCabe, Anna Cook, Andrew Barker, Jake Phelan, Jan Blakeman, Katy Ingram, Marian Turner, Mariko Oya and Sal Mcleay.

We are hoping to continue this initiative next year on a monthly basis. If you have any feedback or would like to volunteer, please speak to Costa or one of the parent volunteers.
