Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.
St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends of St Anthony's,

Wow, it's the end of Week 5 of Term One. We've had a wonderful start to the year and classrooms are buzzing with new learning, new friendships and filled with many smiles.

Our new Prep/Foundation students are settled and enjoying learning here at St Anthony's.

We welcomed many past students, staff and current families and friends at our 70th Anniversary celebration and enjoyed a day of singing and dance. A photo collage has been added in later pages.

On 12th March at 8.50am we will have out first School Advisory Council Meeting. It is an opportunity for St Anthony's Parents to join us for a light breakfast and to discuss our school improvement agenda. We hold 6 meetings throughout the year and then celebrate with a special breakfast at the end of the year. All parents are welcome to join the first meeting and then we will form a council team for 2025. Meetings usually last just under an hour.

Next Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday. We will be serving delicious pancakes in the Quad before school. Please ensure that you have returned you child's permission form. All parents are welcome to join us and have a pancake with us!

Next Wednesday is Ash Wednesday which marks the start of Lent. A time of prayer, almsgiving and the traditional practice of fasting.
