Whole Staff Professional Learning

On the last day of Term 2, the St Therese's staff attended professional learning regarding our Christian heritage, allowing development of multi-faith understanding with the Gospel at the heart of our understanding.

It was an opportunity to deepen the staff's understanding of the Jewish history and traditions and how Judaism links to our Christian heritage. Additionally, we learnt about how we can use Scripture to promote interfaith dialogue and prayer.

We visited the Jewish museum and two synagoges and also had the opportunity to attend Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral.

It was a great learning opportunity that we can embed in our teaching and learning with our students and promote the importance of interfaith dialogue in our own diverse school community.
