Principal's Report

Dear families,  

We have had a busy few weeks here at school and it has been really nice having lots of families on site for different occasions.  

2027 ENROLMENT INFORMATION

We are coming to the point of the year (already) where we are commencing our enrolment process for next year.  

Our 2027 School Information Night will be Tuesday 28 April at 6:30pm. School Open Week is Monday 4 – Friday 8 May and we will have principal/student-led tours each morning from the 29 April until 8 May – 9:30am – 10:30am.  

If you know of anyone who is interested in enrolling at Holy Rosary, please share this information or direct them to contact our office. Thank you. 

SACRAMENTS

This weekend, we have several students who will attend Mass as part of the Sacramental program. This is a really special time for the children as they continue their faith journey. We are very proud and wish the candidates the very best. 

DIVISIONAL SWIMMING

Today we had several students who are attending the Divisional Swimming. At the point of writing this, I do not have any results yet but am eagerly awaiting the information. Good luck to all who represented HR. 

BUILDING PROJECT

Today, I have been informed that all permits and paperwork have been issued and that we can expect to see the project commence next Wednesday (barring any unforeseen delays). Families, please be mindful that our front office gate will be closed for extended times throughout the build and you will require to enter the school via the gate near the tanks. This is very exciting! 

AFTER SCHOOL SUPERVISION

As you know, our OHSC operates within our site. I ask that, if any children are at the school (outside of OHSC) that families are supervising at all times. Our OHSC staff cannot supervise/manage students who are not in their care.   

TOYS

Again, I please ask that you talk to your child/ren regarding toys coming into school. We ask no personal toys come in. Thanks for your support in this.
