Knox Division Rugby League Gala Day

The Knox Division Tag Rugby Gala Day was held on Friday, 28 August. This was an open event for any Year 6 and selected Year 5 students who wanted to participate and Park Ridge entered the maximum 4 teams into the event. Melbourne Storm development officers ran the day and provided some great coaching in their quest to develop the game of Rugby League in Victoria. Students also participated in lunch time activities such as relay races and a dance competition where prizes were given out. There was no scoring on the day, however I’m sure the students were keeping track and am told we won most of our games – not that it matters on a day like this. The day is always a spectacular event, with many students commenting that they didn’t expect it to be as fun as it was.
